Alumim Potatoes

Kibbutz Alumim has been growing potatoes for over 30 years.

Our experienced and professional team grows a range of different species during the autumn and spring seasons.

We grow varieties according to the client's specifications for export to Europe, the UK and Russia, and also for the local Israeli market and Israeli food industry.

Our produce is grown in our fields in the north-western Negev region according to Global GAP specifications.

Our crops are packed in our own packing houses in Alumim, which operate according to BRC specifications.

Potatoes are packed in big bags – FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) at 1,350 kg and in mesh bags at 5kg - 25 kg according to customer requirements.

We oversee the marketing of our produce for export and for local markets.

Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practice), sets worldwide standards for certification of agricultural products.

Kibbutz Alumim won the Global GAP Award in 2013.
